Robert Jellicoe is Southwold born and bred.  He became Head of English at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham where he taught for 34 years. He is an archivist at Southwold Museum and the Sailors’ Reading Room. He now lives on a small farm not far from the sea. His first book Shorelines, Voices of Southwold Fishermen, from which some of the poems are reproduced, was published in 2022.
